POLO CLUB

ABOUT US

The Michigan Intercollegiate Polo Club is a non-profit University of Michigan student run organization open to all students to experience the exciting sport of polo. The club currently has 30 members and 13 lovable ponies. Riding experience is not necessary; our members teach both riding and polo. Practice is held five days a week and is very flexible; members choose which days to attend based on their schedule. With the new USPA-sponsored Regional Preliminary Tournament that began in 2012, the Women's Varsity competes primarily with schools in the Southeast region including Michigan State, University of Kentucky, University of Louisville, and University of Wisconsin.

DONATE

Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Our team receives no funding from the university. We rely completely on our fundraisers, member dues, donations, and sponsorships. All donations are tax-deductible.

Horses are a big expense, the largest of which include board, vet bills, farrier, and feed. Monetary donations help us keep our ponies healthy! Item donations like blankets, saddles, bridles, and other equipment also keep us and our horses safe.

If you would like to make an item donation or would like to hear more about what donations are used for, please contact the club at mipoloclub@gmail.com
